Tamil, Tamils and Periyar: As recorded by his critic Subbu Reddiyar!

Subbu Reddiar belongs to the Chaturvarna school of thoughts. He himself had to grudgingly admit the contribution of Periyar to Tamil and Tamils.
Some  of the many quotes of  Subbu Reddiar are given here:

Madurai temple fire accident: Let investigation be done sincerely !

Everyone knows very well that the saffronites are upholders of Chaturvarna system and that they do not want to abolish that system.

It is also known for long that the chaturvarna protagonists were asking the government to withdraw from the administration of temples.

October 2016:

In the month of March 2017, BJP leader Mr. P. Muralidhar Rao said, in Andhra Pradesh, that "Though India got independence in 1947 Hindu temples have got freedom. Modi Government is working to correct this". (Andhra Bhoomi - 02.10.2016)

AUGUST 2017:

Swarajya is an online magazine indulging in vicious saffron propaganda to resurrect the chaturvarna system. Its Editorial Director Mr. R. Jagannathan plants an article in the Times of India on 29.08.2017.

FEBRUARY 2018:

Fire accident takes place at Madurai temple on 02.02.2018. It is said that there were so many shops and the fire was caused by them.

Immediately, the saffron fundamentalists started shouting, at the top of their voice, that the government must get out of the temple administration.

Now, the question is whether the demand of these saffron fundamentalists came because of the fire accident or whether the fire accident took place because of some design to free the temples from government purview.

Let investigators examine the issue from this angle also and arrive at the truth.

Because, if the shops are gutted, how could walls or ceilings fall down, as reported in the media?  Or, can they?

History testifies to the fact that chaturvarna fanatics had not hesitated to set fire even to the image of Gods to achieve their nefarious ends.
“Spies may set fire to an altar or an image of a god covered with a layer of mica besmeared with burning oil at night and shout aloud as before (i.e., We are going to eat the flesh of the king or of his ministers; let the worship of the gods go on”.
