The sins of the ancestors Vs. The role of the descendants!

Mr. Manivannan has, during the course of interaction through Facebook, asked five questions on the sins of ancestors and the responsibility of their descendants. Those questions are attempted to be answered to. They are:

Q 1: Do you believe that some people are born evil because of their birth and/or how they are raised and by whom?

Reply: I do not believe that anybody is born evil. But, when some people join together on the basis of certain identity, and subjugate, in an organised manner, the others who do not have that identity, the evil mentality of that group creates social conflicts in a peaceful society. If that group succeeds in acquiring such dominant position and trains its descendants methodically, to retain its dominant status forever, it is training its descendants to be evils-personified. Such groups are classified as races without conscience.

“...(the Aryan) in his encounters with lower peoples, subjugated them and bent them to his will... As long as he ruthlessly upheld the master attitude, not only did he remain master but also the preserver and increaser of culture”, said Adolf Hitler. -( Pages 86 & 87 - A History of Nazi Germany by William L. Shirer). This was the theory believed and propagated by Hitler. But, the present Germans do not subscribe to this theory. They are ashamed of it. But, they do not suppress the history but transcend beyond it. That is the hallmark of civilisation.

“Germany abounds in history, history to be proud of as well as history to be ashamed of. ….Germans will not let their shame be hidden. They need themselves and the world to know that they have acknowledged the evil that overpowered their nation and will not fall victim again.” - Laura B. Koetter.

I, therefore, believe that nobody is born evil, but when a group does not want to forego the illgotten benefits bequeathed to it by its ancestors and wants to continue with the same terrorist methods adopted by its ancestors, that society is committing organised crime against humanity. They are not only the perpetrators of evil but perpetuators of evil. These people believe in ‘ruthlessly upholding their master attitude’ as advised to them by their ancestor, Hitler.

What Samuel Gompers had said in respect of the conflicts between employers and employees hold good, in India, for the conflicts in social set up.

"When a dominating class wants to keep a subject class under its control, what better way to distract it than to keep it fighting amongst itself. If a subject class is kept busy fighting each other as individuals and trying to gain small advantages or favouritism over each other, it will be all the easier to keep them in check. A subject class which is divided on the basis of arbitrary and superficial differences such as sex, race or nationality will always remain subject” - Samuel Gompers (1850-1924), President of the American Federation of Labour.

Q.2: Do you think that some people can never be clean and will always remain polluted?

Reply: I believe that this question is about the mental make up of the people. As long as a dominant group thinks that it is superior to the others by birth and enforces that theory in public life by preventing the others from occupying the posts appropriated and reserved by it for itself for millennia, that dominant group would have only a polluted mind and would not be rated as clean in its outlook and activities. 

World history testified to the fact that there had been many thinkers in such dominant groups in the West who revolted against such system and worked for the welfare of the subjugated groups. William Wilberforce, Abraham Lincoln, Morris Dees, H.D. Thoreau were a few among them. Their services to the society made the dominant group develop a sense of empathy and that made that dominant group clean.

Q.3: Do you think that some people must be evicted from India because they are descended from people who came from outside India, mainly as invaders but also as traders?

Reply: I am never for any kind of ethnic cleansing anywhere in the world. I  admire Kanian Poongundaranaar. But, I cannot agree to the position that the group which perpetuates apartheid in society and captures the bureaucracy, media and judiciary through unfair means and terrorist tactics and runs the society with mafia-like grip, must be accepted and acquiesced. I am for equality and fraternity as that alone will ensure unity.

I fight against the groups which follow literally, day in and day out, the directives of Hitler, who advised the dominant group to maintain its racial exclusivity. Racial exclusivity has, always, been the choice of only the oppressors. The components of such dominant race must mend themselves and develop empathy.

 “The Aryan gave up the purity of blood and, therefore, lost his sojourn in the paradise which he had made for himself. He became submerged in the racial mixture and gradually lost his cultural creativeness', I have therefore warned, 'The stronger must dominate and not blend with the weaker, thus sacrificing his own greatness. Only the born weakling can view this as cruel”, says Hitler (A History of Nazi Germany - William L. Shirer - Page 87).

Q.4: Do you think that children of tomorrow are guilty of the sins of their ancestors - all of them - from today to 4000 years ago?

Reply: Yes, if those children do not want to be objective in their approach and try to justify the crimes committed by their forefathers against humanity. Why not they learn lessons from the present day Germans who disown Hitler but do not cover-up his misdeeds. The same could be said in respect of the history of Anglophones who harassed the Francophones in Canada two centuries ago. Anglophones of the present day do not justify the crimes committed by their ancestors against the Quebecois. Hon’ble Supreme Court has said, in “State of Punjab Vs. Hira Lal and Others” (C.A. No. 1218 of 1968), “Advantages secured due to historical reasons cannot be claimed as fundamental rights”, dismissing the imaginary grievances of the upper classes. The descendants of the dominant group must realize that they must make the society egalitatian, at least, now. They will not then be guilty of the crimes committed by their forefathers against humanity.   

They should not suppress the past history by usurping the key-posts in the  ICHR or NCERT. I must accept the history as it was. That alone is the first step towards a civilized life.

“It is better to explore and accept history rather than to repress and deny it”, says Edward W. Said in his book Culture and Imperialism. “The two nations must never stop discussing their history’, said President Jiang Zemin while referring to the enmity between China and Japan: ‘only thus can they hope to transcend it.”- The Hindu, December 27, 1998. We must acknowledge the past to transcend the past without getting stuck into the past.

Q.5: Do you accept responsibility for all of the sins of your ancestors?

Reply: Yes. If I continue to enjoy or if I have the intention to continue to retain the ill-gotten benefits bequeathed to me by my ancstors, I must accept responsibility for all the sins of my ancestors. If I am ready to turn a new leaf and make amends, I am not required to assume such responsibility.

Annie Besant, Abraham Lincoln, Bharathiyar and others of their kind are held in high esteem not because they perpetuated the tyranny of their forefathers but because they broke away from the attitude and activities of their dominant group, overturned their tyranny and empathised themselves with the subjugated masses. They need not accept responsibility for the sins of their ancestors.

World returns to peaceful way of life only when the Mightier develops empathy and sense of remorse. Only those who really believe that there is no one superior to them and no one inferior to them can elevate humanity to a civilized status. When, after a struggle of about three decades, the Labour Party came to power with resounding majority in 1945 in England, the President of the Indian National Congress greeted Lord Attlee and said, “Hearty congratulations to the people of Great Britain on the results of the election which demonstrate their abandonment of old ideas and acceptance of a new world”(Page 216- The Transfer of Power in India – V.P. Menon – Orient Longman). Have the people in the dominant group in India, abandoned their old ideas and accepted a new world?

I would be happy, if the dominant group joins hands with me in ushering in that new world. Let history always be the thing of past. It is time we turned new leaf like the Helots and Spartans, learning from history and not repeating the history.

தமிழா! பொங்கலே புத்தாண்டு!! கடத்தல்காரர்களிடம் ஏமாறாதே!!!

தமிழ் ஆண்டு என்பது முற்காலத்தில் சுறவம் (தை) மாதத்தின் முதல் நாளில் தொடங்குவதாக அமைந்திருந்தது. தமிழ் மரபின்படி மாதங்கள் ஓரைப் பெயர்களால் குறிப்பிடப்பெற்றன என்பது பாவாணர் அவர்களின் ஆய்வின் வழி விளங்குகிறது. 

இம்மரபு, காலப்போக்கில் ஆரியர்கள் பல்வேறு துறைகளில் கரவெண்ணத்தோடு திட்டமிட்டு மொழிமாற்றம் செய்தபோது அவர்களின் சதிச்செயலால் பாதிப்பிற்காளானது. அன்றுமுதல் சித்திரை முதல் நாள் தமிழ்ப் புத்தாண்டின் தொடக்க நாளாக மாற்றப்பட்டது. தென் தமிழ் நிலத்தினை பல வகைகளில் பிரித்து, அப்பகுதிகளில் வழங்கிவந்த தமிழை, தெலுங்கு, பின்னர் கன்னடம், அதன் பின் மலையாளம் என்று பிரித்துவிட்டபின், அனைத்துத் துறைகளிலும் பெயரை வடமொழியில் மாற்றிவிட்டு, வடமொழிதான் எங்கும் இருந்தது, வடமொழியே எதிலும் உயர்ந்தது என்ற தோற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்தி வரலாற்றைத் திரிக்கும் வேலையை ஆரியர் மும்முரமாகச் செய்துகொண்டிருந்தனர். கடந்த காலத்தை மாற்றக் கடவுளாலும் முடியாது என்பது வரலாற்றறிஞர் கூற்று. ஆனால், இந்திய ஆரியர்கள் கடவுளைவிட மேலானவர்களாயிற்றே. கடவுளையே தங்கள் கட்டுப்பாட்டுக்குள் வைத்திருப்பவர்கள் என்று ஆணவத்துடன் அறைகூவியவர்களாயிற்றே. 'ப்ரம்மன மம தேவதா' என்றல்லவா சொல்லிக் கொண்டார்கள். எனவே, வரலாற்றை மாற்ற அவர்களால் முடியாதா என்ன? செய்தார்கள். இந்நாளில் கூடத் தொடர்ந்து அச் சதியைச் செய்ய முயலுகின்றார்கள்.  ஒரு குமுகாயத்தின் மீது தமது வல்லாண்மையைச் செலுத்த மிக எளிய வழி, அக் குமுகாயத்தின் மரபுகளையும், பண்பாடுகளையும், அம்மொழியில் உள்ள பெயர்ச் சொற்களையும் மொழிமாற்றம் செய்து கடத்திச் செல்வதேயாகும். இந்தக் கடத்தல் வேலையை உட்கார்ந்து திட்டமிட்டு நிறைவேற்றினர், அன்றைய ஆரியர். It was a typical Aryan hijack.

இசை கடத்தல்:

தமிழ் இசையை ஆரியமாக்க, தமிழ்ப் பண்களின் பெயர்களை வடமொழிப் பெயர்களாக மாற்றினார்கள்.  இசையை இழிந்துரைத்த ஆரியர், இசையின் வலிமை தெரிந்தபின்னர், தமிழரின் இசையைப் பறித்துத் தமதாக்கிக்கொண்டு தமிழருக்கு மறுத்தார்கள். 

ஊர்ப் பெயர் கடத்தல்: 

ஊர்களின் பெயர்களையெல்லாம், வடமொழியில் மாற்றினர். மான்கள் உள்ள காடு என்ற பொருள்கொண்ட திருமரைக்காட்டினை, திருமறைக்காடு என்று நினைத்து வேதாரண்யம் என்று பெயர் மாற்றம் செய்தனர். திருக்கழுங்குன்றம் என்ற பெயரை பக்‌ஷிதீர்த்தம் என்றும், திருவானைக்கா என்ற பெயரை ஜம்புகேஸ்வரம் என்றும், மயிலாடுதுறையை மாயூரம் என்றும், குடந்தையைக் கும்பகோணம் என்றும், திருவரங்கத்தை ஶ்ரீரங்கம் என்றும், திருவில்லிபுத்தூரை ஶ்ரீவில்லிபுத்தூர் என்றும், பொன்னம்பலத்தைக் கனகசபையென்றும், திருமுதுகுன்றத்தை விருத்தாசலம் என்றும் மாற்றித் தமிழர் வரலாற்றையும் தமிழரையும் ஏமாற்ற முயன்றனர். 

சமயப் பெயர்ச்சொல் கடத்தல்:

தாயுமானவனை மாத்ருபூதம் என்றும், முருகனை சுப்ரமணியன் என்றும், கருந்தார்க்குழலி அம்மையைச் சூலிகாம்பாள் என்றும், (திரு+கரு+கா+ஊர்) கருகாக்குமம்மையை கர்பரக்‌ஷாம்பிகா என்றும், தாயம்மையை ஜகதாம்பிகா என்றும், மாணிக்கவண்ணரை இரத்தினகிரீஸ்வரர் என்றும், வண்டுவார் குழலியை ஆமோதாளக நாயகி என்றும், பழமலை நாதரை விருதகிரீஸ்வரர் என்றும், மரைக்காடரை வேதாரண்யர் என்றும் யாழைப்பழித்தமொழியம்மையை வேத நாயகி என்றும், திருத்தாளமுடையாரை சப்தபுரீஸ்வரர் என்றும், ஓசைகொடுத்த நாயகியம்மையை தொனிப்ரதாம்பாள் என்றும், தமிழ்க் கோயில்களில் உள்ள கடவுளர் பெயர்கள் அனைத்தையும் திட்டமிட்டுக் தீயெண்ணத்தோடு மொழி மாற்றம் செய்தனர். கோயில் 'ஆலய'மானது. கோயில் மரம் ஸ்தல விருக்ஷமானது. 

தமிழ் நாட்டில் 11-ஆம் நூற்றாண்டின் போது கோயில்களில் தமிழ் தெரியாத வடமொழி மட்டுமே அறிந்த ஆரியர் பெருமளவில் பூசகர் பதவியை ஆக்கிரமித்தனர்.(அதியமான்கள்-ஔவை துரைசாமி- 1962 - தமிழர் சரித்திரம் - ந. கந்தையா- பக்கல்- 93 -1964).  இது வடமொழியே வழிபாட்டு மொழியாக மாற மேலும் ஏந்தாயிற்று. உருவ வழிபாட்டுக்குச் சற்றும் தொடர்பில்லாத ஆரியர்கள், தமிழர் கோயில்களில் புகுந்துகொண்டு தமிழ்ப்பெயர்களை வடமொழியில் மாற்றம் செய்துவிட்டு, தமிழ்ச் சமயத்தையே கடத்திக் கொண்டு போயினர். இன்றுவரை, அதில் தமது வல்லாண்மையை தளர்த்திக் கொள்ள அவர்கள் அணியமாயில்லை. இனவேறுபாட்டைத் (Apartheid) தீவிரமாகக் கடைபிடிக்கின்றனர்.

இவர்களுடைய மொழி வழி ஆக்கிரமிப்பு முயற்சியால், கோயில் என்ற சொல்லின் மகிமை போய், 'இடம்' என்ற பொருளைக் குறிக்கும் ஆலயம் என்ற சொல் வழக்கில் கொணரப் பட்டது. போஜனாலய என்றால் உணவு உண்ணும் இடம், ஷௌச்சாலய என்றால் கழிவறை. இது தெரியாத தமிழ்ப் புலவர், 'ஆலயம் தொழுவது சாலவும் நன்று' என்று சொல்லிப் போந்தார். 

பொருள்களின் பெயர்ச்சொல் கடத்தல்: 

சோறு சாதமானது. சாறு இரசமானது. சீரகம் ஜீரகமானது. புதுமனை புகுவிழா கிரகப்பிரவேசமானது. இருக்கை ஆசனமானது. உணவு போசனமானது.  இன்ன பிற, இன்ன பிற. 

நாள், கிழமை, மாதம், ஆண்டுப் பெயர் கடத்தல்:

தமிழர் பெரிதும் கடற்பயணம் செய்தனர். பயண காலங்களில் மாலுமிகள் விண்மீன்களையும் திங்களையும் நோக்கித் திசை அறிந்து மரக்கலங்களைச் செலுத்தினர். வானத்தை நோக்கி நேரம் கணிக்கவும் பயின்றிருந்தனர். நிலவின் இயக்கத்தைக் கொண்டு மாதங்களைக் கணக்கிட்டனர். (அக நானூறு -255 - தமிழர் சரித்திரம் - ந. கந்தையா - பக்கல் - 169). "பிராமணர்களின் தொடர்பு ஏற்படுவதன் முன் தமிழர் மிகத் திருந்திய வான ஆராய்ச்சி அறிவைப் பெற்றிருந்தனர்" (பக்கல் - 169 - தமிழர் சரித்திரம் - ந. கந்தையா). 

"மதி என்றால் அளவு. கால அளவைக் கணிக்க நிலவு உதவியதால் தமிழர் அதனை மதி என்றனர். ஒரு முழுமதிக்கும் இன்னொரு முழுமதிக்கும் இடையில் உள்ள காலம் மாதம் என்றும் திங்கள் என்றும் வழங்கப்பட்டது." இது ஆரியர்களால் மாசம் என்றாக்கப் பட்டது. "வளர்பிறை நாட்களை ஒளிப்பக்கம் என்றும் தேய்பிறை நாட்களை இருட்பக்கம் என்றும் சிலப்பதிகாரம் (23:133) கூறும். இவைதான், சுக்கில பக்ஷம் என்றும் கிருஷ்ண பக்ஷம் என்றும் மொழிபெயர்க்கப்பட்டன."….தமிழில் வழங்கிய மாதப்பெயர்கள் ஓரைப் பெயர்கள் ஆகும். இவை சுறவம், கும்பம், மீனம், மேழம், விடை, இரட்டை, கடகம், மடங்கல், கன்னி, துலை, நளி, சிலை ஆகியவையாகும். இப் பெயர் மரபு, சூடாமணி நிகண்டில் பாடல் 64, 65, 66 ஆகியவற்றில் காணக் கிடைக்கின்றன.

ஒவ்வொரு நாளுக்குமான விண்மீன் பெயர்கள் சூடாமணி நிகண்டின் 67 முதல் 78 வரையிலான பாடல்களில் விரித்துரைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. அவை புரவி, அடுப்பு, ஆரல், சகடு, மான்றலை, மூதிரை, கழை, காற்குளம் முதலானவை ஆகும். இவற்றை ஆரியர் அஸ்வினி, பரணி, கார்த்திகை என்று மொழிக் கடத்தல் செய்து தமது கொடும் வல்லாண்மையை விரிவு படுத்திக் கொண்டனர். இன்றும் மலையாளத்தில் இப் பழந்தமிழ்ப் பெயர்கள் நின்று நிலவுவதைக் காணமுடிகிறது. 

"இவையெல்லாம் நமக்கு விளக்கமில்லாத காலத்தில், யார் யாரோ சொன்னதை நம்பினோம். இன்று, அறிவுக்கண் திறந்தபின் எண்ணிப் பார்க்க வேண்டாமா?" - பாவலரேறு. "வியாழன் இராசி வட்டத்தை ஐந்து முறை சுற்றி வருதலாகிய அறுபது ஆண்டுகள் கொண்ட கால அளவை ஆரியருக்குரியதன்று" என்று மக்ளீன் கூறுகிறார். ( Manual of Administration of Madras Presidency) ( பக்கல் - 169 - தமிழர் சரித்திரம் - ந. கந்தையா). ஆனால், இச் சுழற்சி முறையால், சித்திரையைப் புத்தாண்டு நாளாகக் கொண்டாடியது கிடையாது. சிலப்பதிகாரம் கூட இந்திர விழாவைத்தான் கூறுகிறது.  தமிழரின் புத்தாண்டு ஆவணியில் தொடங்கி ஆடியில் முடிந்ததாகவும் சில தமிழறிஞர்கள் கூறினர். இவை எல்லாவற்றையும் மறைமலை அடிகள் முதலான மூதறிஞர்கள் கூடி ஆராய்ந்ததன் பிறகே, பண்டைத் தமிழர் சுறவம் முதல் நாளினைத்தான் புத்தாண்டின் முதல் நாளாகக் கொண்டாடினர் என்று கண்டனர். சித்திரை முதல் நாள் வடவருக்குத்தான் புத்தாண்டு நாள். அதனால்தான், ஆரியர் அதையே நம் தலையிலும் கட்டி நம்மைத் தளைப் படுத்த முயன்றனர்.

தமிழா! சுறவம் (தை) முதல் நாளே தமிழ்ப் புத்தாண்டின் முதல் நாள்! இதைக் கொண்டாடுவது உன் அடிப்படை உரிமை !!! பிறப்புரிமை!!!!

ஆரியர்கள்  உன் நலனில் அக்கறை உள்ளவர்கள் அல்ல. இருந்தால், அனைத்துக் கோயில்களிலும் உன்னிடமிருந்து பறிக்கப்பட்ட பூசகன் வேலையை நீ மீண்டும் பார்க்க முயல்வதைக் கடுமையாக எதிர்ப்பதேன்? கொடுமையாகத் திட்டுவதேன்? விழித்துக் கொள்! காலங்காலத்திற்கு உன்னை அடிமையாக்க முயலும் ஆரியச் சதிக்குத் தொடர்ந்து இரையாகாதே! உனது பண்பாட்டை மறைமலை அடிகள், பாவாணர் முதலான உன் நலம் நாடுவோர் மூலம் அறிந்துகொள்!

Varna-based discrimination in Indian Penal Procedure!

In the Indian Sub-continent, the penal law had been Varna-based for millennia, after the Aryans subjugated the natives. People from higher Varna were given lesser punishment while the people of lower Varna were given punishment of higher degrees during the  Vedic era for over 900 years (1500 BC – 600 BC), until Lord Mahavir and Lord Buddha exposed the hallowness of Vedas and created an egalitarian society. But, the terrorist Chanakya committed all the heinous crimes to subvert that kind of society, and bring in Brahmanical Social Order once again, to ensure special previleges to the Brahmins by birth. That system continued upto the commencement of British era in 1700s. After the British have left, the Brahmins have again brought in the age old, diabolical, Vedic era, by occupying the power-centres like RAW, IB, MEA and MHA. Indians had, really, had proper penal law only during the small spells of Buddhist era and British era.  The discriminatory treatment would become evident from the manner in which the assassins of Mahatma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi were treated by the Brahmin controlled Indian bureaucracy and media.

A few details are given below:

1. Open trial vs. In camera trial:

Mahatma Gandhi assassination trial was held in open. The assassin was Godse, a Brahmin. But, the trial regarding the assassination of Indira Gandhi and the murder of Rajiv Gandhi were held in camera, and the people who were tried for that assassination were non-Brahmins. Public were not made to know what had really gone inside the Court-hall, during these two trials.

2. Public discussion permitted in one case and denied in the other two:

While one cannot totally find fault with such in camera trials for the reason that even the trial on the assassination of Kennedy was held in camera, one must know the Americans were not fakes like the Indians whose thought-process is sought to be controlled by the Aryan dominated RAW, IB, MEA, MHA and the media. In the USA, people were permitted to discuss their views in the newspapers. Lyndon Johnson, the Vice-President had succeeded Kennedy. But, nobody objected to a popular stage-show that was conducted at that time, for a very long time, portraying Lyndon Johnson as the conspirator who killed Kennedy to become President. The oligarchy of bureaucrats in India decide that Indians should not be given such rights.

3. Discussion by public during the period of trial:

In India, the Aryans created an atmosphere of glorification of Godse, during the period of trial of Godse. To some extent, such discussion was allowed during the trial of the alleged -repeat alleged - assassins of Indira Gandhi. But, during the period of the trial of the alleged - repeat, alleged - assassins of Rajiv Gandhi, the Aryan agencies created such a frenzy against the entire struggle of Tamils, that the common people felt afraid even of hearing anything about the problems of Lankan Tamils, except the propaganda of the Aryan Press against Tamil and Tamils. Remember the way Ms. Jayalalitha threatened openly and imprisoned even the 'sympathisers' of LTTE and the Eelam cause, in 1991. That situation became handy for the Sinhalese to continue with its genocide against Tamils, with more intensity and venom. Cho and Ram were leading the pack in the Aryan media to prevent the Tamils in Tamilnadu and the rest of Indians from seeing what had actually happened in Sri Lanka.

4. Defence was not made available to the alleged assassins of Rajiv Gandhi:

Godse was glorified as a hero by the Aryan media during the period of his trial and funds were collected, through advertisements in newspapers, from all corners of the nation to defend him. (If any Aryan feels panicky on this exposure and comes to the Facebook with filthy comments, he may refer, at least, to the Rajendra Prasad's letter to Vallabhbhai Patel on 13.10.1948: (Page 150 & 151- Dr. Rajendra Prasad: Correspondence and Select Documents- Vol. 10) In this letter, Patel refers to the revival of of RSS activities, drills and the formation of a shadow organisation Janadhikar Samithi. He also says that in its meetings congressmen Tandon and Gadgil had participated. He says that he ahd alsoe been asked to address a meeting but had declied. However, Kripalani had addressed, he says.

He writes about the manner in which Godse was defended, and a  hero was made out of him. He also records the fact that subscriptions were raised and distinguished lawyers were invited from various places for the defence of the people involved in the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi.

5. Assistance by Government during the period of trial:

Godse was supplied with pen and paper at Government’s cost to make his statement explaining how and why he wanted to kill Gandhi. He wrote book ‘May it please your honour’, while he was in jail. The statement made by Godse before the Court has been published as a book with the title ‘May it please your honour’. What is more, a copy of the book had been managed to be kept in the Gandhi Memorial too at Kanyakumari. It was removed later, when someone raised the issue. But, the accused in Indira case and Rajiv case were not allowed even to talk to the press.

6. Play to defend Godse permitted:

A play in Marathi by name “Mee Nathuram Godse Bolsthoy” (Naan Nathuram Godse Paesuhiraen) is being staged everywhere justifying the action of Godse. The Hindu editorially supported the staging of play calling it a freedom of speech (Note 1). But, the same Hindu was writing with poison-filled pen, on Lankan Tamil issues after 1987.

7. Memento:

The admirers of Godse have been permitted to keep his ashes as a memento. And they perform rituals with it till date, every year, and keep it in safe custody until the day the Akhand Bharath as desired by Godse is born. At the same time the Aryan agencies did not allow even the chappals or clothes of Satwant Singh who was alleged to have killed Indira Gandhi to be handed over to his widow after he was hanged.“The Godse clan and the 'Nathuram Godse Ichchapatra Nyas' commemorate November 15, the day of Narayanrao Apte and Nathuram's 'martyrdom', as 'Ichchapatra Punar Vachat Diwas' (repetition of the will day). As per his command, Nathuram's ashes are to be immersed in the Sindhu river only when it flows under the Indian flag. Till then, the foundation is to ensure it is passed on from one generation to the next” (Ashes for Posterity – Saira Menezes- Outlook – 02.02.1998).

8. Difference in Defence between Indira case and Rajiv case:

Even the alleged assassins of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi were not treated on par. The alleged assassins of Rajiv Gandhi have been and are being treated worse. First the Aryan newspapers orchestrated such a campaign that many lawyers did not come forward to defend the accused in the Rajiv case while that was not the case with the accused in the Indira Gandhi case. They were defended by the prominent lawyer Ram Jethmalani and others.

9. Media venom:

Media treated the cases of Mahatma, Indira and Rajiv with totally different yardsticks. In fact, Rajiv Gandhi or his mother Indira Gandhi were not such great personalities as Mahatma Gandhi was.

Rajiv Gandhi had stolen public money in the guise of acquiring arms for the defence of the nation. Dr. A.P. Mukherjee, former CBI Director in 1989-90 explains the facts.  A news item, with reference to his book “Unknown Facets of Rajiv Gandhi, Jyoti Basu and Indrajit Gupta” is given below for the information of the readers (Note 2). He committed various heinous crimes during the period of his premiership. Yet, he was given an aura that he was more important a personality than Mahatma Gandhi.

Indira Gandhi had syphoned off commission money in Kudremukh project case and put that money in Swiss Banks, utilizing the services of two RAW officers Mr. Kao and Mr. K. Sankaran Nair and Mr Kaul, the Finance Secretary. (Note 3).

The newspapers did not spread venom against the accused in the Indira case. On the other hand, when the accused Satwant Singh was hanged on not-so-clearly-proven evidence, the Indian Express came out with a cartoon by the famous cartoonist Ravishankar that the God of Justice had been hanged. But, that is not the case with the accused in the Rajiv case. But, Maalan, one of the blood-thirsty editors in Tamilnadu, had said that he was happy with the judgment of the lower court which sentenced 21 persons to death and said that he would be happy to hear the sound of pulleys. Naturally, he would have been unhappy when many of them were let off later by the higher courts. The Manu mentality ingrained in his DNA was displayed, thus, by Maalan, without any sense of remorse or regret. Such cruel editors controlled the media and the thought-process of the Tamils in Tamilnadu.

The only difference one could see from these incidents and events is that the Aryan media still views everything that happens in India through the 'Varna' lens only. Mahatma was not a Brahmin while Indira and Rajiv were. After all, Rajiv Gandhi was a Brahmin and was recognized as such by the Brahmins Association in January 1996. Evidence on record proves that there had been very severe punishment to the killers of the Brahmins right from the days of Manu and very light punishment to the Brahmin killers who kill non-Brahmins.

Mr. Arun Jaitley has gone on record having said that Rajiv case could not have been brought to a close but for TADA evidence, i.e.,evidence obtained by torture. prosecution had not been sincere enough to know the truth. The government had frightened the people that anyone who talked in favour of the Lankan Tamils, let alone the LTTE, would be booked. It should have allowed a public debate to unearth the truth

Conclusion:

Unless the non-Brahmins insist on their right to be treated as equals, India will continue to suffer from the tyranny of Vedic legacy. Even if the crime is the same, punishments would be different for different Varnas.
