Local residents in the Ayapakkam Housing Board area of Villivakkam Panchayat Union in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruvallur district have voiced their opposition to the Central Government’s alleged imposition of the Hindi language by drawing kolams (rangoli) outside their homes in protest.
The kolams featured messages such as ‘Welcome Tamil language’ and ‘Stop Hindi imposition,’ voicing their dissent against the imposition of Hindi.
